Position Summary:
The Physical Therapist: Rehab Post Acute
Provides evaluation, program planning and treatment of patients referred to Physical TherapyProvides documentation of the above and education to patients, families, hospital staff, and studentsTo participate in the enhancement of the profession, the facility, and one's self by providing quality care, clinical research, and educationEnsures that all patients are helped to meet their maximum potential through the quality care and input to medical management provided by the Physical Therapist and that the therapist continues his or her professional growth and development contribution to the Medical CenterEducation:
Completion of a Bachelor of Science, Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited academic program.Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.:
Current State licensure as Physical Therapist required.AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required.Experience:
1 year of Physical Therapist experience requiredExperience in an outpatient settingSuccessful completion of clinical internships as required by the academic program
