Position Summary:We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Per Diem Faculty Group Practice Nuclear Tech. Performs medically prescribed nuclear medicine procedures.
Job Responsibilities:Executes equipment set-up, utilization, and proper maintenance procedures.Operates hospital and radiology information systems as they relate to nuclear medicine.Effectively assesses patients' information and status, and follows appropriate procedure(s) accor.Independently implements patient procedures by departmental protocols and standards.Independently implements non-imaging procedures by departmental protocols and standards.
Minimum Qualifications:To qualify you must have an Associate's Degree and Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) recognized nuclear medicine technology program. Eligible to take certification exam in Nuclear Medicine by either the: Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Required Licenses:
Nuclear Med Tech Cert (NMTCB).
Preferred Licenses:
Am Registry Of Radiologic Tech
Preferred Qualifications:Completion of an associate degree or baccalaureate degree in nuclear medicine technology
