Our experienced team specializes in care and recovery for patients who have experienced brain injury, movement disorders, spinal cordinjuries, stroke and other debilitating conditions. We provide services for individuals across the age spectrum – from pediatric to geriatric – and with the highest level of acuity, including patients who require mechanical ventilation.
ResponsibilitiesJob Summary
The speech-language pathologist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients. In this role, you will perform patient evaluation, development and implementation of an appropriate treatment plan, delivery of treatment services, and comprehensive discharge planning.
Care Provided Frazier Rehab Institute provides personalized and rehabilitation care to approximately 2,000 patients each year. We offer a wide range of services to help individuals with disabling conditions, including:• Amputations• Arthritis• Brain injuries• Burns and wounds• Cancer• Cerebral palsy• Chronic pain• Joint replacement• Mechanicalventilation• Musculoskeletalinjuries• Neurologicaldisorders• Parkinson's disease• Pediatrics• Spasticity• Spinal cord injuries• Stroke• Transplant
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
Education/Accreditation/Licensure (required & preferred):
Licensed or eligible in Kentucky
Master’s or Doctorate of Speech-Language Pathology degree
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or in the process of pursuing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY-SLP)
Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s
or Doctorate of Speech-Language Pathology
