Job Description:
The Online Graduate Admissions Officer will play a key role in enhancing the overall online applicant and onboarding experience. This position requires a high level of organization, excellent communication skills and the ability to train and support the Special Programs Admission Officer. This individual will serve as the Graduate School Liaison for LSU Online managers, enrollment coaches and student success coaches by facilitating application processing, resolving issues and promoting effective collaboration. This role focuses on technical and logistical support to streamline LSU Online's application process and improving the overall applicant experience. Act as a key facilitator ensuring that decisions made at the managerial level translate into tangible actions to benefit the LSU Online admissions process and overall operations. This position will report to the Director of Recruitment, Admissions and Onboarding for the Graduate School at LSU.
Job Responsibilities:
Proactive communication and collaboration with LSU Online leadership and managers to identify opportunities for enhancing the LSU Online application and admissions onboarding experience. Ensure that timely decisions made at the managerial level translate into tangible actions to benefit the LSU Online admissions process and overall operations. Act as a Graduate School Liaison for LSU Online managers, enrollment coaches and student success coaches to provide operational and logistical support to streamline LSU Online's application processing and improving the overall applicant experience. Stays informed and aware of important LSU Online deadline dates, start dates, and progress towards online goals established by LSU Online. 30%
Provide oversight for International application processing by determining US admissibility and transferability of credit for LSU Online's degree seeking graduate programs. Serves as a liaison between prospective students and the academic departments regarding the status of their applications, admissions and onboarding. Tracks applicants through the admission process and works with other university constituents to advance and follow up on incomplete files. 25%
Utilizes technology systems to facilitate LSU Online Slate technical requests and track the recruitment and admission of prospective online learners, including a CRM, SIS, and other systems. This includes troubleshooting applicant and new online student admit issues, Slate account mergers, new admit registration holds, deferrals, modality changes, and LSU Online Team Dynamix (TDX) requests. 25%
Creates and maintains LSU Online training manuals, policies, and procedures for new online graduate admissions officers and Slate application processing. Provides end user training for CRM and SIS for new online admissions officers and LSU Online managers. Works with LSU Online to ensure the communication of existing policy and systems. Ensure that all documentation aligns with University policy and standards. Produces documentation for end users. 15%
Does special projects for Director of Recruitment, Admissions, and Onboarding for the Graduate School. Provides regular reports regarding all activities. Other duties as assigned. 5%

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communication, Education, Business, or related field with 1 year of professional experience in higher education, admissions, student services or related field.
Specific Experience : Slate CRM and experience working in Student Information Systems.
