Location: 80 Jesse Hill Jr. Dr. SE, Atlanta, 30303Job Type: Full-TimeJob SummaryThe Inpatient Clinical Dietitian Supervisor is responsible for assisting the management with supervising and coordinating the clinical dietetic services in the Grady Health System. The role involves assisting in the management of a team of inpatient clinical dietitians, ensuring the provision of high-quality nutritional care to patients, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to promote optimal patient outcomes.Job Responsibilities* Assist management in leading a team of inpatient clinical dietitians and dietetic technicians.* Develop, implement, and evaluate nutritional care plans for patients and ensure compliance with nutrition protocols and standards.* Review and assess patient medical records for QA compliance.* Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for dietetic staff.* Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition care services.* Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.* Able to provide advanced clinical care for inpatients including NFPE, malnutrition documentation, recommendations for enteral and parenteral nutrition along with counseling on dietary modification as needed.* Assist in research development to support quality nutrition care using evidence-based practice.* Additional duties as assigned.Requirements* Minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical dietetics, with demonstrated leadership skills.* Education:Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.* Skills/Cert/LicensesRegistered Dietitian (RD) credential, Licensure in state of GeorgiaEqual Opportunity Employer-Minorities/Females/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity.
