AnMed Medical Center is looking to add to the Gastroenterology locum pool for future coverage needs! They are looking to onboard GREAT candidates immediately!

Open dates: Dates of Coverage: 2 weeks in December (doesn't matter which 2) 12/1/24 (7pm) - 12/9/24 (7a) 12/9/24 (7a) - 12/16/24 (7a) 12/23/24 (7a) - 12/30/24 (7a) 1/13/25 (7am) - 1/20/25 (7a) In order to get someone credentialed to start in December, we will need to move quickly. They would need to go to the October MEC and November Board. Job Details: Practice Setting: Hospital Reason for Coverage: Physician Shortage Dates of Coverage: Multiple Call Ratio: The locum will cover 24 hours Clinical Areas: Adult, Hospital, Gastro With Onsite Lab & Onsite X-Ray Outpatient Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine is not required Average Number of Office/Clinic Patients Per Locum Per Day: 0 Trauma Level/Designation: II Average Number of Hospital Based Patients Per Locum Per Day: 16 with 6 consults How Many Physicians in the Group: 3 Documentation System/EMR: Epic Required Procedures: Colonoscopy Liver Biopsy Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry Esophageal Manometry Interpretation Lower GI Endoscopy Sigmoidoscopy Required Types of Upper GI Endoscopy: with Biopsy, with Foreign Body Removal, with Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser), with Injection of Varices, with Banding of Varices, with ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy), Diagnostic, Therapeutic
