We are looking for an assertive, ambitious, and outgoing team member to begin working full-time for our plaintiffs’ personal injury law firm. You'll be the litigation paralegal on for a team alongside an attorney, pre-litigation paralegal, and legal assistant, and carry a maximum litigation caseload of 18 cases. Compensation: Base salary of $70,000 annually, plus heavy performance bonuses based on overall litigation profitability and the health of the firm. The right candidate will join our team and gain access to the company's health insurance, dental, and vision plans, 401(k), and be eligible for unlimited vacation, working remotely, four-day-work week after meeting performance goals, and a flexible schedule. Preferred Experience : 3 years working in a similar position at a plaintiffs' personal injury firm in Colorado, experience with various software & Mac OSX, Spanish speaking. Job Type: Full-time Responsibilities: • Collecting and organizing evidence for disclosures and trial exhibits • Drafting & filing disclosures & pleadings • Scheduling attorney meetings with witnesses, experts, and clients • Scheduling depositions • Calendaring & managing attorneys' deadlines • Delegating to other staff • Attending trials & hearings • Hiring expert witnesses • Investigating incidents • Redacting and summarizing medical records and trial exhibits • Researching litigation opponents • Drafting and filing motions • Assisting clients with responding to written discovery • Sending written discovery to opposing parties • Scheduling and noticing depositions Qualifications: • Experience as a Litigation Paralegal in a plaintiff's personal injury firm • Comfortable learning new technologies and software • Excellent reading, writing, and people skills • Attention to detail • Empathy for personal injury victims • Client- and Team-oriented • Possessing personal grit for dealing with stressful and time-sensitive events in litigation and trial • Spanish-speaking preferred Compensation: $70,000 yearly + bonuses
