Our client is experiencing immense company growth and operational expansion through key strategic initiatives. Due to this growth, they are now looking to find a Controller to join their team near Cicero, IL to take ownership over the month-end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other daily accounting functions.Job DescriptionController Responsibilities:Coordinate month-end and year-end closing procedures and perform necessary accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls.Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.Monitor cash flow, including cash inflows and outflows, and manage working capital. Make recommendations for cash flow optimization and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.Oversee the general ledger and ensure proper classification and coding of financial transactions.
