About the role:

The Quality Manager is responsible for Leading the Quality Management System (QMS) and working cross-functionally to drive improvements to McCrometer’s quality metrics for Out-of-Box (OOB) and Warranty incidents.

Quality Management System (QMS)

: Leads the execution of the QMS to ensure products meet high standards and compliance with governing bodies and customer requirements, while managing all internal and external quality audits.

Quality Metrics Improvement

: Collaborates across operations, R&D/engineering, customer service, tech support, and product management to address and improve Out-of-Box and Warranty quality issues through design reviews, process updates, and training enhancements.

This role will be located at McCrometer located in Hemet, CA and will be a Hybrid role, working onsite approximately 3-days per week.

Responsibilities:

Quality Management System (QMS) portion of role:

Manages and monitors the Quality Management System (QMS), updating senior management and stakeholders, and develops and executes action plans for improvements, building followership to drive improvements

Oversees external (3rd party and customer) and internal audits, maintains auditor relationships, and ensures cross-training for audit support.

Provides training to internal teams and individuals to ensure that quality management is infused into the culture of the business and that quality management processes align with desired customer outcomes.

Maintains the controlled document library, and aligns quality management processes with customer outcomes.

Quality Metrics Improvement portion of role:

Manages tracking of Out-of-Box (OOB) and Warranty quality defects and subsequent corrective actions.

Assists in improving products and processes as needed to reduce overall quality defects and improve impact of corrective actions.

Monitors product quality performance and provides data to cross functional team members to report organizational performance vs. goal.

Works with engineering/R&D to conduct design reviews to ensure product/feature launches will meet quality standards

Works with operations/production to develop and update standard work procedures to ensure consistent and repeatable quality

Are you qualified?

Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field

Proven experience working with quality management systems

Demonstrated success owning and driving quality metrics and working cross-functionally to address quality issues across an organization

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $130,000 USD per year.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
