Want to support a child during their journey through foster care? Our CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) volunteers provide consistency and stability for a child during a very difficult time in their lives.CASAs are court-appointed, trained and committed adult volunteers who ensure that each child’s individual needs remain a priority in an overburdened child welfare system.CASA volunteers get to know the child while also gathering information from the child’s family, teachers, doctors and therapists, care givers and anyone else involved in the childs life.A CASA provides an important voice for a child in and outside of court.A CASA volunteer provides a consistent presence in a child’s life during their time in foster care.CASA advocates for family permanency for the child through reunification with family or adoption.CASA volunteers help to reestablish healthy family connections and advocate for reunification with family.Ultimately, the role of a CASA volunteer is to advocate for the best interest of the children.Are you hearing the call to help a child?
