Pay Rate:
$58 / hour *W2
Job Details:
Area: Medical OT-10HR Class: RECT Shift: 1 Start: 07: 00: 00 End: 17: 30: 00 Requirements :
Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 36 months (3yrs) as a
Recreational Therapist Ability to build rapport with patients Compassionate and caring demeanor Familiarity with medical terminology A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association) CERTIFICATES ACCEPTED FROM THE NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR THERAPUTIC CERTIFICATON (NCTRC) OR THE CALIFORNIA BOARD OF RECREATON AND PARK CERTIFICATION (CBRPC)
Responsibilities:
Assess patient needs Consider medical records Personal observation and talks with the patient and his or her loved ones Execute a therapeutic program targeted toward what that patient requires most Keep current on communal and therapeutic resources available to best help the patients Document a patient's progress during their activities Other duties assigned my supervisor
