Role Overview:
We seek an empathetic and skilled individual to spearhead our moving services division. The Moving Team Leader will be responsible for assembling, training, and leading a team of movers, with a special emphasis on empathy and customer service. This leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong background in moving services who is eager to take on managerial responsibilities and contribute to a meaningful cause.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, and lead a moving and packing team.
Manage the moving services division, including planning and execution of moves.
Disassemble, pack, transport, and reassemble furniture in clients’ new homes.
Install and hang items such as pictures, TVs, and other wall-mounted decor.
Ensure the safety and efficiency of moves, taking into account the unique needs of each client.
Educate team members on best practices in moving, packing, disassembly, and installation.
Foster positive relationships with clients, offering support and understanding during their transition.
Requirements:
Proven experience in moving services, with expertise in furniture disassembly/reassembly and installation of home decor.
Willingness and ability to lead, train, and grow a team.
Residence within 20 miles of Dix Hills, Melville, Huntington, East Northport and Smithtown areas.
Capable of lifting more than 30 pounds and performing physically demanding tasks.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong organizational, planning, and leadership skills.
Empathetic and caring approach, with the ability to provide compassionate service to seniors.
Ambitious, with a desire to take on significant managerial responsibilities and grow within the company.
