Wheelersburg Animal Hospital , located in southern Ohio along the Kentucky border, is searching for an Associate DVM to join our team in beautiful Wheelersburg, Ohio.
We're looking for an Associate who:Has 3-5+ years of clinical experience in a small animal hospitalIs confident, capable, and thrives in ever changing environmentsIs a team player and motivated to learn and growWants to join a dedicated team where everyone is willing to lend a helping handUnderstands the importance of client education and communicates effectively, compassionately, and respectfullyIs licensed (or able to become licensed) in the state of OhioSurgery is not a requirement for this role; however, there are opportunities for surgery if desiredGet to know us:
Our multi-doctor team has nearly 65 years of combined experienceMost of our DVMs are graduates from The Ohio State UniversityOur clientele is wonderful and stable, just like our support staffOur support team is talented and well-utilizedWe function as a paper-lite hospital (DVM Manager)Our hospital is 8200 square foot and recently remodeledWe have 7 exam rooms and a surgery room with two stationsWe are well-equipped to provide advanced diagnostics (Heska lab equipment)Aside from wellness we also regularly see internal medicine cases, dentistry, and complex surgical proceduresWe're located off a busy road (522 & Gallia) with ample parking and just seconds from Kroger and a coffee shopWheelersburg is a friendly community with some of the best public schools in the country (for academics and athletics)Full-time benefits package:

Flexible scheduling:
This is a full-time Monday-Saturday role with flexible scheduling. Our current hours are 8am-5:30/6pm on weekdays and 8am-12:30pm on Saturdays. Ideally, our next Associate would pick up at least one Saturday each month. There are
no on-call services or emergency hours
required for this role.
