We are excited to add an
Equine Intern
to our team! There is an opportunity to see a wide variety of medical and surgical cases, learn from senior clinicians and surgeons, and develop into a competent, well-rounded, practicing equine veterinarian in a year. This position would be a great opportunity for a new graduate looking for mentorship across all areas of practice. Our interns' education and experience are a top priority as they are the future of equine veterinary medicine!Located on 26 beautiful acresFull service, equine-exclusive practiceSmall and large paddocksLaboratory, pharmacy, reproduction lab, standing surgery/exam room, surgery suite, & 14 spacious indoor stallsNamed one of the South's prettiest townsKey Responsibilities
Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approachCollaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadershipGrow relationships within the practice and the
Madison
communityEncourage the growth of support staff members through our internal LevelUp training programManage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during our open hoursSkills, Knowledge, and Expertise
DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state).Benefits
