Seeking experienced Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Across the Lifespan) Certification (PMHNP-BC™)Enjoy excellent colleagues, strong system practice support, and a physician friendly environment.Samaritan Hospital, located in Troy, NY offers a comprehensive program in behavioral health that includes inpatient services across three units and a robust outpatient program located on the hospital campus. An interdisciplinary team provides specialized care to meet the medical, psychiatric, and social needs of the patient.This opportunity is available for immediate placement and will join a team of Counselors, Therapists, Psychiatrists, Case Managers, and Nurse Practitioners in providing compassionate care to our patients. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with the outpatient Psychiatry team.Shifts are either M-F 8-hr days or 4-10s. Providers work 1 weekend per month covering inpatient with a physician with post call days off.Not accepting new graduate candidates - at least 1 year of NP Psych employment experience requiredNot accepting Locums candidatesClient cannot clear local candidates within 30 miles of their institutions.Compensation and Benefits:Competitive salary range: BR26,647 and BR36,779.
(The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.)Potential Starting BonusRelocation Allowance if applicable:
The amount is determined by the distance they are moving from to the facility. It is a reimbursement-based system.
