In this role, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring associate veterinarians, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a collaborative environment where high-quality veterinary care is the standard. You will also be involved in clinical care and share the responsibility for the hospital's financial health and operational management.
The Medical Director will lead by example, setting and upholding medical policies, managing daily operations, and driving staff development. Your expertise will help shape clinical practices and create a positive work culture focused on teamwork and excellence. You will also oversee scheduling and financial performance to maintain a thriving and efficient hospital.
In addition, this role involves identifying opportunities for new services and ensuring all practices comply with state and federal laws. You'll monitor practice performance using key performance indicators and contribute to strategic planning efforts, working to continuously enhance patient care and hospital growth.
