Portland Veterinary Hospital is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our team. We are an established, full-service, two doctor hospital that provides quality veterinary care for dogs, cats, and pocket pets. Our doctors enjoy practicing in a facility equipped with a full laboratory for all diagnostics needs, Digital X-ray including Dental, and Ultrasonography. Our welcoming team is responsible for helping the DVMs with smooth transitions throughout the day, ensuring the client's experience is a positive one, to overall make sure the patient's visit comes with ease. In addition to mandatory veterinary knowledge and training, our team is selected for kindness, compassion, patience, professionalism, integrity, and agility. We are open Monday through Friday with a half day on Saturday. We accept walk-ins of all caliber which creates a thrilling learning opportunity.

* Develop a relationship with our clients and partner with them to deliver the highest quality patient care possible.* Treat each pet individually to minimize stress, anxiety or discomfort.* Stay up-to-date with innovative and emerging veterinary medications, procedures, treatments, protocols and equipment.* Collaborate and function as a team within the hospital.* Help to continue developing the support team.
Qualifications
* We're looking for:
* Full Time OR Part Time Veterinarian* New graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply* Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator* Proficient in general medicine and surgery* Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA accredited university* Current DEA License or obtained upon hire* Active Veterinary State License* USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire
