Job Description

BryceTech is looking for an experienced Acquisition Manager to support our US Space Force, Space Systems Command (SSC) customer.

Customer Background Information:

Space Domain Awareness & Combat Power is the Space Systems Command Program Executive Office (PEO) focused on delivering cyber, ground- and space-based systems that rapidly detect, warn, characterize, attribute, and predict threats to national, allied, and commercial space systems, while also providing National Security deterrence capabilities countering those identified threats to prevail in a space conflict.

SSC/SZ-BC provides highly classified Space Domain Awareness (SDA) systems, Defensive and Offensive Space Control (DSC/OSC) capabilities, and space test range assets to meet current and projected Department of Defense (DoD) operational requirements. SSC/SZ-BC develops, integrates, tests, deploys, sustains, and supports operations for systems that meet strategic and tactical operational needs. SSC provides unrivaled space systems to ensure survival for both the United States Space Force and our nation. These systems span the entire acquisition life cycle. This contract will support multiple SSC/SZ-BC programs, as well as various other Space Force, Air Force, and mission partner programs.

The effort will support the development, advancement, and sustainment of weapon systems for Space Systems Command (SSC) Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SDACP) (SSC/SZ), Battle Management, Command, Control, and Communications (BMC3) (SSC/BC), and their mission partners. This mission area requires personnel with experience and an in-depth understanding of the environments that include ground, near-space, space, and any system that operates in those environments.

Minimum Knowledge and Experience :

- Deep understanding of mission critical aspects of acquisition and DoD space launch, ground and sustainment and associated projects.

- Expected to independently perform all functional duties, even of the lower labor categories, and require no additional functional training.

- Deep knowledge of Higher Headquarters, Air Force, Space Command, processes and procedures as it relates to their functional responsibility and speak/write Air Force and Space Acquisition terminology appropriately

- Relevant areas of expertise limited to the following: Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics

- PMT 4010 Certificate (or predecessor course)

Description of work :

1. Provide engineering and technical expertise to support ongoing and new/advanced Command and Control (C2) efforts and the Contractor shall integrate those efforts with and into the classified portfolio. Establish a liaison between the Space C2 and Enterprise Ground Services (EGS) program offices and the SSC/SZ-BC classified program offices. Personnel supporting this effort will focus on integrated C2 solutions with Space C2 and EGS spiral increment efforts to ensure seamless integration of the classified portfolio.

2. Assist with management of the portfolio by providing information, advice, and recommendations for the effective alignment of portfolio acquisitions, manpower, and funding. Advise and assist program managers to identify and minimize the likelihood of interface and integration problems. Coordinate and resolve issues and facilitate team communications. Tasks shall include coordinating resolution of program issues and facilitating effective integration of requirements and efforts with other acquisition and sustainment activities. This may include internal system interface issues, as well as external interface issues with multiple Government or mission partner organizations.

3. Maintain, update, and analyze the acquisition forecast to ensure current and consistent content and identify any disconnects or deficiencies. The acquisition forecast is a projection of current and future contract efforts, milestones, and key decision points.

4. Incorporate inputs from the force design, operational imperatives, combatant command integrated priority lists, and future force shaping products to deliver recommendations that enhance Government planning and capability.

5. Advise and assist leadership in support of high visibility engagements, commitments, and taskers, to include at the congressional level. Draft, review, coordinate, and process program acquisition information suitable for public release to industry, media, trade publications, and other program stakeholders.

Qualifications20 years of extensive, relevant experience including duties/assignments specifically in support of space programs.Familiar with use and tracking within Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaR)Model Audit Rule (MAR) Reporting Software,Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT)Experience with the MS Office Suite of Tools including MS Project.

Additional Information

Must be a US citizen and have a MA/MS degree.

Must have current Secret Clearance.

Position is contingent on BryceTech winning a prime bid on the USSF SSC HEMISPHERE contract and subsequent TOs.
