Responsibilities
Responsible for providing ultrasound imaging of patient’s heart for assisting physicians with the diagnosis of patient.Performs Transthoracic Echocardiograms that accesses heart functions, wall motion abnormalities and abnormal valve velocities.
Assists and performs trans esophageal echocardiograms.Performs Stress Echo and Dobutamine Stress Echo tests.
Qualifications
Job RequirementsCompletion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program and/or ARDMS or CCIARRT, ARDMS or equivalent registered or eligibleFull State of New Mexico licensure required within one year of hireMust maintain licensure and national certification/registryBLSPreferred Job RequirementsAssociate’s Degree or Bachelor’s DegreeOne (1) year of experience in the healthcare/hospital environment
