What You'll Do:Manage an average inpatient census of 2 patients.Admit an average of 1 patient per day, with night admissions also averaging 1.Perform comprehensive inpatient care for obstetrical and gynecological needs.Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.Provide support and guidance to patients and families throughout their hospital stay.Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the EPIC electronic medical records system.
Who You Are:Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (required).Current and active license to practice medicine in North Carolina (only).NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification (required).Current ALSO (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics) certification (required).Completion of the AWHON Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course within the last 2 years (required).A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care within a collaborative and team-oriented environment.Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
