Cleans and conditions motorcycles. Provides direct assistance to all service department employees. Also provides support to motorcycle sales department for customer delivery process. Assists as needed when required throughout dealership.Essential Duties:Provides optimum customer serviceAbility to work with limited supervisionUnload and uncrate all new motorcycles safelyWash and/or detail all motorcycles prior to customer pick-upAssist service technicians in the movement of motorcycles to and from shop areasAssist customers with loading/unloading of motorcyclesMaintain adequate supply of materials and suppliesPeriodically check stored motorcycle battery charge levelsMaintain clean motorcycles on showroom floorMaintain a clean and safe workplaceAbility to transport motorcycles as needed.Requirements:
High school graduate preferred.Valid drivers license with motorcycle endorsement.Prior detailing experience helpful, but not required.Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely.Ability to be trained to use motorcycle lift equipment.Ability to operate a forklift a plus.Forklift experience a plus or ability to be trained.Load and unload motorcycles from trucks.Perform all duties while following accepted safety practices.Work Environment:Employee will handle various cleaners and chemicals during motorcycle washing/detailing.Work area is enclosed but subject to varying temperaturesExposure to gasoline, oil and exhaust fumesPhysical Demands:Must be able to move motorcycles weighing up to 700lbsMust be able to stoop, bend, lift and stretchWill be required to work outdoors during various weather conditions
