They will ensure that procedures are carried out smoothly, to maximize efficiency and profits.ResponsibilitiesSet-up and run multi axis machinesControl and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed and feeds)Inspect parts with precision measuring toolsFix issues that might occur during the shiftMeet job requirements with minimal supervisionRequirements5+ years on CNC Mills or CNC LathesWorking knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)Understanding of machining proceduresAdherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and manualsStrong Mathematical SkillsAnalytical skillsAttention to detailTeamwork and communication skillsPhysical stamina and strengthHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plusPreferred, but not required skillsExperience in aerospace industryExperience with live tooling machinesProgramming experience on cad system
