We are in need of a

Certified Asbestos Project Monitor

for a variety of projects throughout the NYC Metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

Handling a variety of tasks including environmental investigations and assessments including regulatory compliance, asbestos and lead paint inspections and remediation oversightField monitoring of abatement projects in accordance with applicable federal, state and local regulationsXRF Testing and data recordingTechnical support and report writing

Qualifications

NYSDOL Certified Project DesignerBS in Environmental a big+Minimum of 5 years of experience preparing asbestos abatement designs, writing NYSDOL variance petitions and managing all aspects of asbestos abatement projectsCoordination and oversight of ACM/Regulated Building Materials Inspections, preparing abatement design technical specifications and drawings, and coordination/oversight of project monitoring personnelStrong writing skills is essential to the positionAdditional asbestos, lead, mold and OSHA certifications is a plusCandidates must have good communication skills and a collaborative approach working with both client and construction contractor/subcontractors
