Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients.

LiRo-Hill

is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of environmental engineering analysis and design tasks related to:

planning,

environmental site investigation (subsurface and hazardous materials), remediation design and

remedial operations

oordination and presentation of design submissions with

clients and

environmental regulatory agencies

,Perform and manage site investigations to observe and document existing conditionsSupervise the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications and coordinate with other disciplines as required to deliver quality engineering servicesComplete and review planning documents, design calculations; assist in the preparation of bid packages, design drawings and technical specificationsProvide responses and solutions to technical and contractual issues during the projectsUtilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills on projects that range from small site restorations to large scale new constructionEngage with existing clients to expand our services and pursue new clients to support growth of the environmental business in the regionAssist in the preparation of proposals for environmental consulting servicesAttend industry and business development functions as a representative of the firmMentor and develop junior engineering staff

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering or Science10+ years’ experience in Environmental Engineering/Environmental ConsultingNJ PE requiredNJ LSRP is a plusAbility to provide guidance to junior level engineers and scientistsUnderstanding and application of environmental regulations, hazardous materials handling and disposal requirementsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask and consistently meet deadlines
