Zeochem is seeking a Quality Systems Coordinator (QA Coordinator) to oversee the quality assurance program for its chemical manufacturing facility located in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:

Experience managing ISO 9001:2015 and/or ISO 14001 systemsCoordinating document control for siteImplementing site wide continuous improvement programSUMMARYSupports the Quality Manager to implement and maintain the local Continuous Improvement Program and the ISO 9001:2015 quality systems for site location. Collects and analyzes data, creates and reports metrics to measure the results and efficiency of quality assurance procedures, responds to quality question of external customers, and prepares the company for audits.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIESMaintain QA processes and procedures for site quality systemsLead local Quality Improvement Team (QIT) meetingsImplement and manage local Continuous Improvement Process programDraft quality assurance policies and proceduresInterpret and implement quality assurance standards and proceduresEvaluate adequacy of quality assurance standardsDocument internal audits and other quality assurance activitiesResponsible for investigating customer complaints and non-conformance issues including root cause analysis and ensuring customer resolutionMaintain Safety Data Sheet system and monitor for compliance to all applicable regulations for adsorbent product linesAnalyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality systemDevelop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actionsPrepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activitiesIdentify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standardsCoordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providersEvaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actionsMonitor risk management activitiesResponsible for document management systems, including contractsAssure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirementsFormat or complete standard reports, supplier surveys, customer questionnaires, charts, and graphs as neededOther duties may be assignedEDUCATION and EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree preferred5+ years’ experience in Quality AssuranceCertified ISO auditor preferredCertifications including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, or Six Sigma preferredQuality inspection, auditing, and testing experienceStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office, QA applications and databasesProven experience managing projects and ability to meet deadlinesStrong written, communications, and interpersonal relationship skillsAbility to present data and presentations across multiple levelsStrong Organization SkillsExperience with implementation of corrective action programsMolecular Sieve or industry related experience desiredKnowledge of tools, concepts, and methodologies of QAKnowledge of relevant regulatory requirementsPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
