Responsibilities
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms all work according to OSHA, MSHA, and H&K Safety policiesFollow and assure compliance with quality control plansSample and test materials following standard practices and quality plansMaintain test records and assure compliance with company and agency specificationsMaintain a clean, organized work environmentCalibrate and maintain test equipment to standardsEstablish and maintain lines of communication with plant operations, agency representatives, and quality control supervisionWork with sales team to address customer issuesGenerate reports and communicate results and trends to the quality control team and H&K employeesOther duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills, Education, and ExperienceTwo years of related experience
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
ACI Concrete Field Technician Grade 1 and PQS CertificationAble to read and understand general production plansAble to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentBasic understanding of precast concrete, or NPCA precast trainingExperience working with state DOT regulations & paperworkAbility to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as neededAbility to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
Preferred Skills, Education, and ExperienceKnowledge of mix designsPhysical DemandsRegularly required to
Climb, stoop, bend, squat, stretchLift and/or move 25-50 pounds
