practice provides a full range of external beam radiation therapy procedures. Equipment in use at the Odessa location includes: Varian 21iX, GE RT Lightspeed CT scanner, Elekta microSelectron HDR, Oncentra TPS for HDR treatment planning, Eclipse TPS, MOSAIQ ROIS, RadCalc, Mapcheck3, SNC Routine, IC Profiler, and 3DS scanning systemResponsibilities
Preferred Experience :A working knowledge:Varian linear acceleratorsElekta/Nucletron microselectron HDR afterloader and Oncentra TPSEclipse TPSARIA and MOSAIQ Record and Verify systemHDR, SBRT and SRS proceduresRadiation Safety Officer duties for both x-ray registration and RAM licenses
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following minimum qualifications :Master's degree in Medical physics from an accredited college or universityGraduate from a CAMPEP accredited residency programABR board certification (or equivalent)Full Texas licensureHDR planning and treatment experienceThe ability to be added to the RAM licenseExperience with SRS, SBRT, and HDRStrong organization and oral / written communication skillsThe ability to travel on an occasion, as needed, basis to support the sister clinic in Midland, Texas (20 Miles)
