Job Title: Machine Programmer

SUMMARY: Primary owner of CNC mill and lathe programming.

WAGE TYPE: Hourly

FLSA Exemption: Non-exempt

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Writes and installs program for operation of CNC mills, lathes, press brakes, lasers.Sets up, services and operates CNC mills, lathes, lasers, press brakes and/or auxiliary equipment.Makes machine adjustments and enters changes into programs.Insures machines are producing parts to specifications before releasing job to Machine Operators.Monitors operations for quality and productivity and assists in problem solving.ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:

Education and/or Experience:

Expected: High School Diploma or GED Preferred: Electroplating experience

Communication Skills:

Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.Ability to read and analyze technical procedures, control plans and government regulations.Other Skills:

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.Ability to operate a pallet jack and electronic equipmentProficient at using computer.
