Property Accountant Responsibilities:
Monthly invoicing for tenants, customers for multiple real estate propertiesProcess accounts payablePrint checks and mail upon receiving signatureAnswering vendor inquiries in place of managementProcessing of bank depositsResponsible for bookkeeping for sizable real estate portfolioConduct financial research into opportunities to increase revenue/decrease expensesVariation analysis - identify and implement process improvementsProperty Accountant Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting a plus2-3 year's accounting experienceYardi Premier or Voyager a plus, if not similar real estate software packageExcellent PC skills including Intermediate ExcelMust have excellent communications skills to interact with multiple levels of staff and managementMust have ability to multi-task and handle high volume of varied responsibilities, accurately and professionallyMust be very accurate and detail-orientedExperience in Commercial Property accounting function
