Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required (international diplomas may need translation).U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.Ability to operate department equipment and obtain certification for silicone mill operation.Must effectively communicate with peers and adapt to production needs.Ability to multitask, read work orders, interpret specifications, and use measuring instruments.Must write legibly, read, and speak English.Physical requirements include standing, bending, lifting up to 80 lbs., and working in varying conditions.Exposure to chemicals like Inproclean 3800, methanol, and silicone; proper PPE required, including apron, face shield, gloves, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs.salary: $16 - $16.01 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 10 PM - 6:30 AMeducation: High School
Responsibilities
Operate silicone extruders and ensure product quality.Review production schedules and plan job duties accordingly.Mill silicone, prepare products for extrusion, and set up extruders for various wrap types.Cut samples and send them to the lab for quality control testing.Measure and verify the outer diameter (OD) and wall thickness of products.Record data for traceability and compliance with specifications.Maintain a clean work area, follow safety regulations, and report production issues.
The essential functions of this role include:wearing steel toe shoesworking in a non-temperature controlled environmentmanual lifting up to 35lbs
