What You'll Do

The Senior Manager, General Accounting will oversee daily accounting activities and lead the preparation of the financial reporting requirements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, perform key accounting analysis, and lead the monthly book closing process.

What you'll be working onResponsible for the monthly financial close process, including reviewing journal entries and preparation of consolidated financial statementsPrepare/Review account analyses and resolve outstanding itemsOversee accounting for non-controlling interest shareholders while meeting reporting requirements and deadlinesOversee accounting for equity method investments and corresponding journal entriesAnalyze and review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with Internal Controls and US GAAPAssist in the preparation and review of year-end audited financial statements and relevant disclosuresSupport M&A projects, including the accounting for discontinued operations and net assets held for saleIdentify opportunities for automation, process efficiencies and improved financial reportingPartner with finance and business leaders to monitor, and report monthly results and variances vs. forecasts/budgetsPrepare ad hoc reports, financial analyses, and participate in special projectsMust Haves

Graduate of an accounting degree, CPA preferred but not requiredAt least 8+ years of experience; combined private and public accounting experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft WordExperience with NetSuite preferred but not requiredAbility to prepare and review financial analysis and accounting schedules, as neededAbility to analyze complex transactions and research appropriate accountingExperience in evaluating and implementing accounting policies and practicesMust possess the following traits:Confident and must possess strong communication skills - ability to coordinate with personnel across the organizationAbility to manage multiple tasksAbility to supervise personnel and work well with other finance team membersAbility to organize and standardize accounting processes and proceduresDetail and deadline orientedExcellent analytic skills, and ability to identify variances or unusual trends that will require further investigationAbility to prepare reports in an accurate and concise mannerOrganized and possess good time management skills

Primary Location Salary Range:

$100,000 - $150,000
