We are growing and looking to hire a Dental Assistant for our office located in New Haven, CT. The ideal Dental Assistant for this position would have 2+ years' experience as a Certified Dental Assistant. Must have Infection Control and Radiology certifications.
*Pay: $26-$28 per hour. (Based on experience)
Schedule: Mon, Wed, Thur, Friday: 9am-5pm and 2 Saturdays per month 9am-3pm
Responsibilities
Greet and prepare patients for treatmentChairside assisting during a variety of dental proceduresExpose radiographs and intra-oral picturesProvide patient instructions and education on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health and provide instructions for oral care following all dental treatment proceduresPrepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instrumentsMaintain strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPAMaintain dental supply inventory and perform other job related dutiesManage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
