We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts. You will be responsible for interpreting technical blueprints, ensuring quality control, and performing routine maintenance on equipment. Responsibilities
Machine Setup : Prepare and set up CNC lathes according to specifications and instructions.Program Interpretation : Read and interpret technical blueprints, CAD designs, and CNC programs.Tool Selection and Installation : Choose appropriate cutting tools, install them, and make adjustments as needed.Operation Monitoring : Operate CNC lathe machines, monitor their performance, and make necessary adjustments.Quality Control : Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, using precision measuring tools.Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve issues with machine operation or output quality.Documentation : Maintain accurate records of production, machine settings, and quality control checks.Safety Compliance : Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.Collaboration : Work with engineers, programmers, and other team members to optimize production processes
The essential functions of this role include:working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
