Junior Financial Analyst
to serve on a fully funded contract supporting the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD R&E).Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Assisting the OUSD(R&E) in developing the Program Objectives Memorandum and Budget Estimate Submission for OUSD(R&E), to include managing the internal OUSD(R&E) budget reviews, managing OUSD(R&E) change/budget proposals, managing and reviewing budget submission entries in Excel and the applicable databases, and developing and reviewing detailed budget justification material (R-Forms, P-Forms, etc.).Preparing analysis and evaluations of the effectiveness of programs/operations and analyzing financial and budgetary trends.Reviewing statements of work and required funding documents for approved OUSD(R&E) projects.Monitoring and supporting DoD program execution, including submission of required documentation for release of funding; follow up on distribution of funding, monitor obligation and disbursement rates for funded projects, and document annual expenditures.Assisting in preparation of required documentation to support the DoD PPBE process, to include but not limited to Research and Development Descriptive Summary (R1-R4), Program and Budget Issue Papers, and Support documentation for Program Decision Memorandum.Preparing and participating in Mid-Year reviews and other PPBE meetings as required.Assisting OUSD(R&E) in identifying baseline financial processes and designing target financial and business processes and procedures that, to improve mission and cost effectiveness.Processing financial and budgetary actions in the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) system and other associated databases as required for the OUSD(R&E).Assisting in preparing audit readiness preparing associated documentation.Executing and following-up on all budgetary data calls.Multiple positions may be hired from this announcement.Work Environment:Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.Physical Demands:While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Travel:0-10% / Minimal travel expected: offsites, meetings, training, a conference.WWC Global, an operating firm of Command Holdings, a Pequot company, is a tribally-owned firm providing management consulting services to U.S. government agencies.Pursuant to PL 93-638, as amended, preference will be given to qualified Native Americans and spouses in all phases of employment.At WWC Global, our employees are the embodiment of our success as a firm.
