Our boutique recruiting experience is highly bespoke and curated to our clients' needs. About the Role The VP will join a private investment firm in their Denver, CO office. This firm is operationally driven, focusing on acquiring middle market businesses primarily in the fields of aerospace and defense, healthcare, industrials & industrial tech, and specialized B2B sectors. They have invested in 57 platforms, and prefer investing in firms with $2-7M EBITDA. Key Responsibilities The VP will join senior investment professionals in investment sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management functions of the firm. Specific responsibilities include: Sourcing and Evaluating Transactions Transacting, Conducting Due Diligence and Closing Transactions Post-Transaction and Portfolio Monitoring Professional Experience & Qualifications Six years of PE/IB experience with a minimum 4 years of private equity deal team experience in operations or credit/lending, with lower middle-market experience a plus. Two years of Investment banking a plus. MBA and CPA a plus. A strong work ethic coupled with world class organizational skills and follow-through Outstanding relationship-building skills Highly ethical in all personal and professional endeavors Excellent verbal and written communication skills Education An undergraduate degree is required.
