Responsibilities: Job Summary A Body Shop Paint Prepper will complete all paint preparation processes for repaired vehicles and assist painters with their work. Job Responsibilities Review each repair order prior to beginning work. Prepare vehicles and parts for painting using proper techniques, equipment and materials. Mask vehicles for painting Prime vehicles and parts Sand vehicles and parts prior to painting Responsible for wet sanding/buffing completed vehicles to the paint finish meets quality standards Review all work with painter Maintain a clean & organized work environment. Prompt daily attendance on scheduled work days. Other general shop duties as assigned
