$16.50-$17.50 per hourRequires flexibility to work any shift, weekends, overtime, and holidaysMust be able to work dayshift the first 2 weeks for required orientation & trainingJob Summary: Production Operators will work in a variety of roles in food processing and packaging within our client's facility. Operators are responsible for maintaining the highest quality of food safety and sanitation standards. Duties also include performing daily audits and completing daily production paperwork.
Requirements of a Production Operator:
High school diploma or GED required.Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities change frequently.At least 2 years of experience in a food manufacturing role is preferred.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Basic Computer Skills.Responsibilities of a Production Operator:
Operate processing or packaging equipment as assigned.Perform various checks, including a metal detector, date code, and weight systems checks.Complete quality checks and associated daily production paperwork.Assist with housekeeping cleaning duties including but not limited to restrooms, locker rooms, cafeteria, office areas, windows, conference rooms, and restocking supplies.Observe safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Observe good housekeeping practices.
