Job Purpose:

To gain real world experience by performing the duties of their full-time engineering counterparts, managing projects independently, offering sound technical and engineering advice for facilities performance

Responsibilities:Will work in various departments and throughout the plant to:Identify opportunities for improvements by performing ergonomic job surveys, analyzing operations, reviewing job loads, and making recommendationsIdentify improvements to work methods by reviewing the methods and analyzing potential method/design changesAnalyze operations and create AutoCAD layoutsEvaluate downtimes and methods to increase efficiencyEvaluate, recommend and install new equipment and layoutsRequirements:

Must graduate in August 2025, December 2025, or May 2026 and major in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology or a related field with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferredDemonstrated leadership, persuasive, initiative, analytical, and communication skills are necessary for success in this positionPossess a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spiritMust be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United StatesApplicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visaThis position will require access to and/or the utilization of a personal motor vehicle to get to and from the workplaceLocation and Hours:

Location is based out of our Flagship Plant in Austin, MN, or in one of our other production facilities including Austin, MN, Willmar, MN, Melrose, MN, Osceola, IA, or Rochelle, ILPosition is approximately 40 hours per weekMultiple positions starting late May and ending mid-AugustOne internship offered will be 6 months, full time, 40 hours per week, beginning late May and will be held on a summer and a semester basis, ending approximately in DecemberCompensation:

Competitive wage

The base pay range is $24 to $27 per hour; however, actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location
