Responsibilities:
Awareness of daily production schedule.
Assure that the metal detector is operational.
Monitor and control that the daily code, case labels, and retail bags are accurate.
Monitor and control that packaging documents are filled out accurately, legibly, and timely.
Assure that sufficient packaging materials are available for daily activities (cartons, labels, retail bags, pallets, pallet tags, case tape, etc.)
Monitor and control that Packaging areas are maintained organized and safe for performing daily activities.
Monitor and control that employees are operating equipment safely and as expected.
Ensures that employees are adhering to GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Ensures that all data entry is entered accurately and in a timely manner.
Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
At least two years of previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
Ability to read and interpret documents such as production schedules, safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to complete routine reports Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software.
Ability to learn new computer software as required by the company
