Position Overview:
Join the Johnsonville Finance Team for a summer you'll never forget! We know that your internship experience will provide you with valuable knowledge and quality experience.
The successful candidate will take part in a program designed to provide an overview of the Finance function through a combination of project work in multiple Finance areas, along with the ability to job shadow in other areas of interest.
You will also participate with Interns from across the company in organized activities which provide networking and learning opportunities.
Responsibilities:
As a Member of Johnsonville's Finance Team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in at least one of the following areas:
Commercial Finance - U.S.Commercial Finance - InternationalCompliance/General AccountingFP&A (Financial Planning and Analytics)Continuous Improvement (Finance focus)The internship responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Perform month end close, forecasting and / or financial reporting responsibilitiesConduct analysis to turn data into insightsParticipate in process improvement projectsPrepare and deliver presentations in front of your colleaguesCollaborate with other members of Finance Team as well as relevant business partners outside of FinanceWork closely with your assigned coach that will mentor you and help you further enhance your internship experiencesEducation:
Candidate must currently be working towards a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited university; junior or senior status preferred3.5 minimum GPA strongly preferredExperience:
Some prior work experience preferredSkills and Competencies:
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPointDesire to learn, grow and contribute in a team-based environmentQuick learner with the ability to work independently and take initiativeBe able to handle working on multiple projects concurrentlyMust possess a drive for excellence
