About the Role

Magna is seeking an Account Manager to join the New Mobility group. This individual will be responsible for managing sales related to Magna's New Mobility AMR & Software suite of services. We are seeking someone with a background in robotics and a passion for sales & customer relations.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the automated material handling industry (within a manufacturing environment), autonomous robots, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with minimal supervision to meet defined yearly objectives and milestones in an environment where they will be given the freedom to innovate and explore new methods and solutions.

Your Responsibilities

Serve as primary point of contact for sales customers. Has regular touch points to take the pulse of the customer and operations. Works cross-functionally to manage needs and resolve customer issues.Manage the commercial elements on each opportunity throughout pre-sales, development and after SOP to identify and immediately address all commercial issues.Works with Solutions Engineers (Software & AMR) to understand customer issues and improve AMR & Software suite of services.Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue, profit, and drive market growth targets, aligning with overall business strategy.Works with Sales Director to establish and monitor the sales process, including CRM tool configuration and management. Creates sales metrics, dashboards, and establishes review meetings on a regular cadence with other teams (product, engineering, manufacturing, deployment & leadership).Plan, lead, and manage the quote process for targeted Magna divisions to completion spending time at/with the divisions to clearly understand their requirements and gain intricate knowledge of figures and assure accuracy.Ensure opportunities deliverables and timing are understood by the Magna New Mobility extended team, and customer expectations are met.Who we are looking for

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Skilled with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products.Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and account management, substantial knowledge of robotics & software commercialized as a service and a proven track record of closing deals.Preferred experience in robotics or automation industriesExperience in customer-facing roles.Experience documenting and reporting updates and current onsite activities.Your preferred qualifications

50% travel within a respective region on a scheduled or moment's notice, overnight travel will vary depending on location

Exhibits excellent written and oral communication skillsDemonstrated problem-solving skills and hands-on experience.Passion for and ability to easily pick up new technologiesHighly proficient with MS Office based productivity tools incl. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.Organized in method of working and documentation.Setting up new sales approaches like data driven sales and partnering
