Apply to join our team today - Welcome to Enlightened.**Enlightened Associate General Manager:** The Associate General Manager is essential to providing a welcoming, safe, and educational customer experience at Enlightened. As the AGM of your dispensary location, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance with state laws and federal laws, ensuring efficient dispensary operations, supporting team development, overseeing inventory tracking, managing sales goals, P&L, and other duties assigned to you by your General Manager, Area Manager and the VP of Retail. As part of the Enlightened Leadership Team you will be expected to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization and exterior stakeholders, in order to execute company goals, policies, and procedures in accordance with Enlightened standards and regulatory requirements. This is Cannabis for People.**Responsibilities:*** Oversee all dispensary operations in order to ensure compliance with state laws and regulations;* Serve as the dispensarys primary point-of-contact in the absence of the GM, and the key point of contact for Dispensary Guides;* Lead by example and uphold a culture of accountability;* Provide leadership and mentorship for the team to meet company goals and grow with our company;* Liaise with the GM and headquarters team to implement policies and fulfill dispensary needs;* Evaluate, communicate, and meet staffing needs for your dispensary location including attracting, recruiting, hiring, and maintaining top quality candidates;* Manage, supervise, and direct the activities of the Guide team by delegating tasks effectively;* Oversee employee development and conduct performance reviews on Guides and Floor Leads;* Monitor employee conduct and pursue corrective action as necessary;* Manage and provide training for internal staff to consistently deliver the highest level of customer service;* Manage financial records and cash handling procedures;* Ensure the dispensary remains compliant with all regulations and lead the team through state inspections without violation;* Liaise with the Buying Team to develop and maintain B2B relationships with cultivators/manufacturers in order to procure an adequate supply of quality cannabis;* Maintain record keeping requirements set forth by the state and company policy;* Payroll reporting and budget management, plus mastery of strategic scheduling practices;* Ensure completion of all employee training requirements;* Imbue company culture to the dispensary team;* Implement best practices, regulatory requirements, company policies, and standardized procedures by scheduling necessary employee training sessions and team meetings;* Maintain in-depth knowledge of cannabis product on a local and national level;* Closely follow state rules and regulations in order to disseminate details to staff and customers;* Provide education to staff about local product offerings and cannabis administration methods;* Ensure employee credentials remain valid for the entirety of the employment period.**Qualifications:*** Previous managerial experience in a fast-paced environment required;* Strong and reliable work ethic;* Compassionate customer service approach;* Excellent communication skills;* Must have reliable mode of transportation;* High School Diploma or GED;* At least 5-years of experience managing a retail, hospitality, or health care facility;* Proven track record in ability to cultivate long-term customer relationships;* Computer use proficiency including familiarity utilizing Microsoft Office and Outlook applications;* Point-of-Sale and cash management experience is required;* Strong attention to detail;* Must have Team Player mentality;* Ability to problem solve in a professional manner;* Self-starter with organized ability to multi-task;* Must have availability to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekends, evenings, and holiday shifts;* Must be at least 21 years of age;* Must pass a thorough internal and external background check including criminal history check by the State Police and FBI;* Must obtain and maintain a Dispensary Registration Identification card from the local governing department.**Company Mission**: To bring the best of the plant to all communities.**Brand Vision**: Become the home of meaningful cannabis connections, where curiosities flourish, and knowledge empowers.**Core Values**: Trust, Transparency, and Expertise.* If you're reading this and questioning whether you should apply for a cannabis company- Please apply!
