We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Partnerships to lead the sourcing and closing of high-impact business development opportunities. In this pivotal role, the Head of Partnerships will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and securing strategic partnerships that align with our business objectives. This individual will play a key role in shaping the company's growth by building strong relationships with external stakeholders and ensuring that these partnerships drive meaningful revenue and market expansion. The Head of Partnerships will collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies, structure deals, and manage the execution of partnerships that fuel the company's long-term success.
You will work across a variety of departments including business, product, marketing, and strategy, driving forward initiatives that ensure alignment with company goals. As a crucial part of the leadership team, you will track progress on key initiatives, ensuring visibility and accountability, while fostering a high-performing, fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Source and Close BD Opportunities: Lead the identification, negotiation, and closing of high-value strategic partnerships that drive growth.
Partnership Strategy Development: Collaborate with the executive team to define and execute partnership strategies that align with overall company goals.
Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new markets, channels, and opportunities that unlock new revenue streams.
Drive Strategic Initiatives: Manage end-to-end partnership projects, from deal structuring to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (product, marketing, operations) to ensure seamless integration and success of partnerships.
Business Modeling: Evaluate new partnership models, analyze ROI, and assess the financial impact of deals.
OKRs and KPIs: Help establish and track OKRs, KPIs, and milestones, ensuring partnerships deliver measurable results.
Competitive Analysis: Conduct market and competitive surveillance to inform partnership strategies and keep the company ahead of market trends.
Executive Support: Assist in preparing executive-level reports and presentations on partnership performance and strategic opportunities.
Qualifications:
Proven Track Record in BD: Demonstrated experience in sourcing, negotiating, and closing strategic partnerships that drive business growth.
Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically about business opportunities and structure partnerships that align with long-term goals.
Relationship Builder: Strong ability to build and nurture relationships with external stakeholders and internal teams.
Influence & Persuasion: Capable of influencing key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to drive deal success.
High Sense of Ownership: Self-starter with a can-do attitude, always looking for ways to take initiative and drive results.
Analytical & Financial Acumen: Strong financial modeling and business analytics skills; able to evaluate the financial impact of partnerships.
Organized & Results-Oriented: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders while driving toward measurable outcomes.
Experience in High-Growth Environments: 5+ years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships, ideally at a high-growth startup or scaling company.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong visualization, presentation, and storytelling skills to effectively communicate partnership value propositions.
Industry Experience: Prior experience in relevant industries such as technology, software, or a related field is a plus.
Bachelor's Degree: MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
