Quality Inspector - Aerospace

QUALITY INSPECTOR - AEROSPACE Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670 Minimum Experience: 5-10 years of experience as Mechanical or CMM Inspector, Chief Inspector or Class A Inspector in an aerospace manufacturing environment Or at the discretion of the hiring manager Minimum Education: High school graduate or GED required Associate degree or equivalent training in a related field preferred Or at the discretion of the hiring manager Certifications/Licenses: Certification in Mechanical Inspection Certification in CMM Inspection Certification in Hardness and EC testing preferred Skills & Abilities: Effectively work with mechanical and electronic inspection tools and devices Working knowledge of Geometric and Dimensional Tolerances (GD&T) Working knowledge of mylars, optical comparator, thickness gage and profilometer Knowledge of aerospace specifications, quality codes and standards Knowledge of Six Sigma preferred Able to read blueprints and schematics Must be accurate and detailed with minimum errors Able to work within specific time schedules/deadlines Basic computer skills Perform job with minimum of supervision Work within a team environment Respond with sensitivity to people of diverse perspectives
