Overview:This role is based at a customer lab in Indianapolis, IN, and involves conducting laboratory experiments to develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods. The ETC is a key resource for Technical Services / Manufacturing Science (TS/MS) across Elanco's internal manufacturing sites, utilizing expertise in areas such as fermentation, bacteriology, virology, biochemistry, and molecular biology. The position focuses on supporting ELISA method development and assisting in the validation and transfer of methods to Elanco QC laboratories, ensuring adherence to scientific rigor, accuracy, and compliance with corporate standards, 9CFR, OSHA, EPA, USDA, cGMPs, and relevant customer requirements.Responsibilities:Perform testing related to the development, validation, and transfer of bioanalytical assays.Analyze test results and accurately record data in an electronic notebook.Adhere to Bio-Safety Level 1 (BSL-1) protocols and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).Prepare assay reagents, maintain laboratory equipment, and handle laboratory deliveries.Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.Communicate effectively with team members regarding schedules, test statuses, and any issues.

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a relevant scientific field.Basic understanding of the principles behind immunoassays and vaccines.Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with persistence and focus.High ethical and professional standards.
