Position Description: RN
BayCare Health System
is currently seeking a
Registered Nurse
to join our outstanding and compassionate
Medical/Surgical - Cardiac
team at
St. Joseph's Hospital . As part of the community since 1934, St. Joseph's Hospital has been a partner for continued health and wellness.
This unit is a Cardiac PCU for congestive heart failure patients.
The RN responsibilities include:
Caring for a group of patients with minimum supervision applying the nursing process and clinical standards.Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.Professional accountability and seeking opportunities to develop.Why BayCare?

Certifications and Licensures:
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is requiredRN (Registered Nurse) license is requiredACLS Certification, if required by departmentNurse Specialty certification is preferredEducation:
Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is requiredBachelors degree in Nursing is preferredExperience:
6 months of RN experience in acute care or 3 months RN experience in acute care with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment is required.Specific Skills:
Interpersonal skillsCritical thinking skillsClinical skills appropriate to position
