Join our team as a 2nd Shift Inspector! In this role, you'll ensure that customer expectations are met by following procedures, completing paperwork accurately, and inspecting bags for defects such as loose edges, wrinkles, misprinted designs, or color variations. You'll notify operators of any issues and remove defective products from the line. We're looking for someone with great attention to detail, mechanical skills, and the ability to train others. Responsibilities
Following procedures to safely meet customer expectationsComplete required paperwork accuratelyMonitoring results and ensuring the quality of material and final products before leaving the work areaInspect bags coming off of bag machine for defects such as loose or torn edges or wrinkles, missing or misapplied glue, misprinted bags, color variation and inaccurate registration or ink smearsNotify operating personnel of defectsLocate and removes defective bags from conveyor, stacking tables or palletsAbility to train othersAbility to comprehend Spec SheetsAbility to perform work accurately with attention to detail.Demonstrate mechanical comprehension.Support SQF Certification.
The essential functions of this role include:wearing steel toe shoesmanual lifting up to 50lbsstanding for 8 hours at one time
