Inspector (Hospitality)

First Shift 7AM-7PM

Your skills we value:Make quality release dispositions regarding color, pattern, and texture per product standard as requested with minimal assistance.Provide final product inspections as required to ensure defects are identified and correctly categorized.Be able to evaluate product reparability at Tufting and FinishingAssist with Claims Investigations.Conduct Tufting quality control testing audits: must be able to verify pile heights, stitch per inch, texture, and shade.Audit Tufting style changes according to specifications as requested.Identify systems and procedures to increase the accuracy of inspection and re-inspect processes.Approve material for sample quality when needed.Organize and layout materials for product reviews.Enter & update roll information into system.Make Quality Hold and Inventory Movements in system.Verify Tufting and Finishing Meters for accuracy.Must be able to make decision on product shear levels.Manage Tufting, Finishing, & Service Center Re-InspectHousekeeping: Keep areas clean and organizedWill be responsible for transporting product driving the Box truck from time to time.Must be certified to operate a lift truck.Must be certified to drive a Box TruckMust have a valid driver's license.Drive and perform lift truck safety inspection checklist daily.Any other duties assigned by supervisor.Qualifications:

Must be highly skilled with computer use - full competency in Outlook, Word, Excel.Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally (via both verbal and written messages)Must have carpet manufacturing background.Must be willing to have work schedule flexibility and work overtime as assigned.Must have a High-School or GED diploma.Ability to lift or move 50 lbs.Ability to distinguish between quality & off-quality carpet.Ability to make decisions on quality dispositions and repair.Must be capable of frequent movement.Must conform to safe work practices.Must be an effective team member with basic problem-solving capabilities.Able to work independently in a fast-paced work environment.Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with variable conditions.Strong problem-solving skills are a plus.1 year experience preferred in any type of lift truck operation.What We Offer
