Lead CNC Machine Operator

summary This is a direct hire position at Enjet. Enjet hasa pay range of $19 - $24, plus a 20% shift premium. Position Description: The Lead CNC Machine Operator will perform and oversee day-to-day operations of the Mazak i1250s including: ser-up, operation, performing required inspections, trouble shooting, and produces machined parts by operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines. The work week is Monday-Thursday working 12-hour shifts; includes a 20% shift differential. Essential Responsibilities: Team leader experience in a manufacturing environment Communication and development of team member's technical skills Trains new team members Load parts and operate machines (Lathe, Mill, and/or EDM) Ensure continuous production of parts that meet customer expectations Perform minor edits of CNC program and replace tooling as needed Inspect completed parts using micrometers, indicators, calipers, comparators, etc. Maintain quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management System Monitor and document operational and performance issues and provide feedback to supervisor Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor and other staff Other duties as directed by supervisor required-skills: Qualifications: 5+ years of CNC experience Team-oriented Self-motivation, strong verbal and written communication skills Blend of technical, interpersonal skills and continuous learning skills Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude GEDrequired-experience: CNC Machine Operator, Lead
