Risk Manager
to join their team. If you have been the financial decision maker that drives business in measurable ways, this role is for you. As the Risk Manager , you will play a crucial role in ensuring effective financial risk management practices for our clien t .
Your responsibilities will span regulatory compliance, financial crime compliance (FCC), corporate governance, enterprise risk management, internal controls and internal audit. You'll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide strategic sourcing services and maintain efficient controls to manage organizational and strategic risks. This is a hybrid, contract role and will pay between $65-70/hour.
Risk Manager Responsibilities:Lead and grow a team focused on financial risk management and complianceProvide guidance and mentorship to 3 financialrisk analystsOffer expertise related to regulatory compliance, FCC, corporate governance and internal controlsAssist organizations in maintaining effective and efficient financial controlsAssess and manage financial risks across various areas within this financial services industryDevelop strategies to mitigate risks and enhance organizational resilienceWork closely with global banking, capital markets, asset management and insurance teamsProvide integrated advisory, assurance, tax and transaction servicesKeep abreast of modern technology advancements and apply them to problem-solvingLeverage technology for continuous learning and service improvement
Risk Manager Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a finance, accounting, business or related field5+ years prior experience in financial risk management, compliance or related rolesRelevant certifications (e.g., Certified Risk Manager, Certified Financial Crime Specialist) are preferredExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skillsProficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Power Bi preferred
